Social Bicycles partners with AT&T to keep bicycle renting safe

If you live in a city swarming with traffic, a bike is a good idea. The problem is that it is very easy for someone to steal your bike, despite all those secure locks. Social Bicycles’ bicycleshave built-in GPS which will be using AT&T’s wireless network. This will make sure that the bike doesn’t get stolen and that its location is known at all times.-->

You can rent bicycles using a smartphone app. Once you reach your destination and want to return it to the company, just locate a Social Bicycles rack with the help of the app and return the bike there. Pretty convenient.

The app will also calculate how many calories you have burned on the distance you covered and the number of dollars you saved by choosing the bicycle to get around.
