New Delhi: Days after commenting on the ongoing gold hunt in Unnao's Daundia Kheda village, BJP's prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that he respects the seer, Shobhan Sarkar, whose dream reportedly led to the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) excavate the remains of old fort in search of 1000-tonnes of gold buried there.
Modi tweeted that he salutes the sacrifice made by the seer and that lakhs of people have had faith on the saint for the past several years.
