Sony Lifelog latest update addresses the battery drain issue in addition to new features
Earlier this year Sony had come up with an application called Lifelog that keeps track of all your daily activities. The entire setup consisted of a Android application and a Sony Smart wear which would feed in real time data about your activities to your phone which would further compile it and churn out chunks of useful info. The best part was that the Smartwear keeps tracking your movement even if your phone is out of range and later on syncs it when the phone returns in range.
The Lifelog application has been negating rough seas because of the umpteen number of bugs and battery drain issues. Sony has rolled out a 2.0.A.0.6 update which is expected to fix the battery drain issue. This new update brings about “Power consumption Improvements” said Sony in an official statement. Further changes in the application include notifications about accomplished goals and extended Sony Entertainment Network support. This update can be downloaded through the Play Store Pronto.
Lifelog ever since its inception has been subjected for many tweaks and improvements. The recent updates added a feature which would recognize transportation and bicycle and also has added a feature to override the activity type. The male and female avatars have been improvised and Sony has added a feature wherein the user can delete single activities.
Lifelog is the best bet if you are a fitness freak or if you just want to burn away those extra calories the smart way. The feature we liked the most is that even if you leave your smartphone at home and go for a jog with the Smart wear on then it automatically syncs up once you reach home and your phones within reach.
The Sony SmartBand costs Rs 5,990 which is a tad lesser than the latest GOQii Fitness band. The GOQii is more personalized and has a dedicated training programs which makes it a better option if your intensively into fitness and each and every minute detailing is something that matters to you. The SmartBand is more casual in Nature and yet effective in terms of functionality.
